Job summary
Hayward House has an exciting opportunity for a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant, to join our passionate and motivated team that is dedicated to providing the highest quality specialist palliative care.
Main duties of the job
Hayward House offers specialist palliative care from diagnosis, through the interim periods of advancing disease, up to and including end of life care. Patients are cared for holistically, with a focus on symptom management and care for emotional, spiritual and social concerns being addressed for both patients and their family. You will be provided with the opportunity to work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide a wide variety of support for our patients and their families.

Hayward House is a 20 bedded Specialist Palliative Care Unit in the grounds of the City Campus of Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust. It provides high quality care centred on the needs of patients and their families. Its aim is to enrich the quality of life through the skills of an experienced and caring team.
