An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Specialty for a Band 5 Staff Nurse post preferably with dermatology experience. We offer a supportive teamwork structure and an opportunity to further your leadership and management skills.We are looking for a dedicated, patient focused Staff Nurse, who is committed to providing the highest standards of nursing care for our patient's.You will work closely with all members of the nursing team including Lead Nurse, Deputy Lead Nurses and members of the MDTcontributing to the development of a highly skilled workforce.If you are enthusiastic, able to work in a demanding, yet rewarding environment within a friendly, supportive team, then we are what you are looking for.
Shift patterns are 8-4 8-6 7-3 9-5 and 11.30-7.30 depending on which area of Dermatology is being covered,
Main duties of the job
To support the Nursing Team in seeking/evaluating appropriate findings to implements Evidence Based Practice and the continual improvement of dermatology care
Improve and maintain standards of essential nursing care by working with the Matron and using the tools such as clinical benchmarking, clinical audit and professional guidelines
Ensure high quality, Evidence Based Care is offered to the patients and, with the Nursing team , identify the common issues which affect the quality of care, devising clear action plans to address any shortcomings ensuring agreed action is undertaken
