Job summary

Join our NUH Staff Wellbeing programme. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in health promotion to join our small, friendly, supportive and busy multidisciplinary Staff Wellbeing team as a Staff Wellbeing Officer. This is a great position for someone looking to advance their skills whilst gaining hands on experience in a thriving and supportive team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of NHS staff. Working as part of the SWB team you will support the day to day delivery of a high quality, comprehensive staff wellbeing programme which incorporates physical and mental health support for our diverse workforce.

The team office is based at Queen's Medical Centre although the post holder will be required to work across all Trust sites depending on demand for service delivery.

Main duties of the job

Working closely with the Staff Wellbeing Lead and Staff Wellbeing Officers, the post will have specific responsibility for supporting the internal and external communications within the Staff Wellbeing Team. You will play an important role in promoting and increasing the awareness of the Staff Wellbeing offer through a range of channels as well as creating new ways to reach NUH staff. You will also have a key role in communicating to stake holders about the workforce trauma project.

In addition you will support the day to day delivery of a high quality staff workplace wellness programme across NUH. Duties include supporting the delivery of health promotion events, overseeing the social media accounts, creating newsletters, general administration related to the programme and contributing to the development of specific health and wellbeing campaigns.
