Job summary
Nottingham Universities Hospital Trust are currently looking for a qualified band 6 cardiac physiologist to join the echo department. In return we can provide you with the experience of working within a large tertiary centre, training in advanced echo techniques and support to develop your skills.
We provide a variety of specialist echo services across the Trust including adult and paediatric congenital lists, physiologist led valve clinics, heart failure clinics, stress echo, TOE and a physiologist led contrast service.
We work alongside a large group of experienced and supportive consultants. The department holds twice weekly review meetings and a bi annual BSE accredited training day.

Main duties of the job
This post requires echo accreditation. The successful candidate will hold BSE level II accreditation or be post exam. Consideration will also be given to candidates holding international accreditation.

You will be expected to scan and report adult patients independently.
Perform a range of other diagnostics when needed such as exercise stress testing, tilt table testing, ambulatory analysis.
Supervision of junior colleagues.
