Job summary
The is a great opportunity for a Diagnostic Radiographer at Band 7 with a BSc degree or equivalent. The job is a full- time teaching post for a fixed 1 year contract term. Following this time period, the contract can be renewed on a rolling basis pending performance review. Postgraduate qualification in image interpretation with evidence of teaching at a post graduate or undergraduate level are essential for this post.
Main duties of the job
The post primarily involves teaching image interpretation skills to our undergraduate medical students with opportunities to teach allied health professionals. There will be an expectation on innovation in medical education through educational projects.

The Quality Standards for Imaging (QSI) accredited Radiology department employs 650 staff, seeing 500,000 plus patients per year across the Queen's Medical Centre, City Hospital and NUH Treatment Centre.
As part of the close alliance between NUH and the University of Nottingham, the Radiology department provides undergraduate medical teaching and this role is integral to ensuring that we provide a high quality learning and training environment to support students, ensuring that they have the appropriate skills for the future medical workforce as defined by the GMC.
