Job summary
Therapy & Rehab Services, in the Clinical Support Division, is looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to work in a newly developed Senior Service Manager role.
This person will work as part of the Therapy Services Management team to focus on Dietetic services, with key pieces of work, projects and day-to-day operational management to be agreed.
Key focus for the role will be service improvement (both inpatient & outpatient), contract and performance management.
Inpatient & Outpatient services are provided to adults and children across a wide range of elective and emergency pathways at locations across QMC, Treatment Centre and City campus as well as community outreach. Cross-site work is required in this role.
Main duties of the job
You will join our team of Therapy Services Managers, Clinical Leads and, Business Manager and work closely with the team to review current processes and drive through ambitious improvements across a diverse range of outpatient & inpatient services. You will therefore need to be able to gather and analyse information across a number of sources and clinical systems. You will also need to be able to engage with a number of stakeholders.
This post is a dynamic post that will need to react to changing pathway needs alongside longer-term pieces of work.
This post would suit an experienced service manager looking to develop into a more senior post or an existing Senior Service Manager/Associate GM wanting to gain experience of working across multiple specialties with exposure to different pathways. Experience of hospital systems, project and operational management would also be useful.

The Dietetic service is part of the Therapies and Rehabilitation Services pathway, which is one of the pathways that together make up the Clinical Support Division at NUH.
We are a diverse pathway of AHPs and support staff, employing over 600 staff, who works together to deliver the high quality care we aspire to. Our HCPC registered AHP professionals comprise of physiotherapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, orthotists, prosthetists and speech and language therapists.
We have a Chief AHP to lead us on our strategic direction, and many of the pathway leadership team have pathway AHP backgrounds to support our staff. There are also Practice Development Therapists to support career development for all.
