Job summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic clinic support worker to join the East Midlands Complications of Excess Weight Service.
The successful candidate will join a team of specialist nurses, clinical support workers, dietitians, social workers and psychologists, caring for children with complications from excess weight.
You will be hospital based with a responsibility to see children in the outpatient setting, as well as liaise with families at home and provide education and health promotion, across the Nottingham, Derby and Burton regions.

The successful candidate will work as a member of a team providing a high quality service to children and young people with severe obesity and related complications. You will keep in close contact with patients, their families and others involved in day-to-day care. You will offer support and advice (under supervision) to optimise the management of patients' weights and related complications and their physical, psychological, intellectual, educational and social development.

- NVQ Level 2 Standard in health (or willing to work towards in a given time frame)
- Level 2 literacy and numeracy or GCSE Mathematics grade C or above
- Evidence of ongoing personal professional development
