The team supports flexible working, with a mixture of on-site and home working. The primary base for this role is Trust Headquarters at the City Hospital campus, with travel between the Trust campuses, as the need arises.

Main duties of the job

As a crucial member of the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate, you will be responsible for operational and project support to enable the successful implementation of robust quality assurance processes, to ensure delivery of high quality care that is safe, effective and promotes a positive patient experience.

On behalf of the Quality Assurance Team, you will be responsible for the management of central evidence requirements for all Trust wide assurance activity including but not limited to Care Quality Commission (CQC) Registration. Maintaining accurate, up to date records of evidence.

Your duties will also include but not limited to: developing and producing information/performance reports and providing a central information function for assurance and compliance purposes; lead participant in, and help prepare for and respond to, CQC and other inspection visits and evidence requests across the assurance function and promoting the quality assurance agenda at all opportunities through the development and delivery of education programmes and networking with colleagues of all grades and professions.

Being organised, having the ability to multitask, adopt a flexible and adaptable approach to suit the variable and developing workload of the Quality Assurance Team, having discretion and integrity, the ability to work autonomously under pressure and an excellent communicator who is confident and comfortable in dealing with people at all levels is essential.
