This is a unique opportunity to work within the Rheumatology team based in Gateway E at the Treatment Centre at Nottingham University Hospitals
We are looking to employ an enthusiastic, energetic registered nurse who has an interest and experience in caring for patients with rheumatology disorders to become our next nurse specialist. this is a fixed term post of 9 months to cover maternity leave.
Main duties of the job
Following training you will have your own list of patients with Rheumatology disorders, you will educate them on the treatments recommended by the consultants, and monitor their reaction to the treatment by assessing blood results, interpreting the significance of out of range results and assessing the patients condition both face to face and on the telephone. you will support patients who call the helpline with questions about the medications or their disease.
You will work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure all patients are treated with kindness compassion and with research and evidence based care.
