Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arose on Ward B3 for a full-time / part-time Healthcare assistant to join our team.

On Ward b3 you will be working on a fast-paced Acute medicine admission ward. Supporting our team of registered nurses, where you will provide direct care to ensure our patient experience is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

The role is open to full-time and part-time hours. Please be aware that typical shift patterns are 07:00 - 19:30 and 19:00 - 07:30, across seven days of the week (including bank holidays).

We are looking for candidates with high levels of care and compassion and who demonstrate qualities of Team NUH. No prior experience is necessary as we support you through a healthcare assistant induction and support you to complete the National Care Certificate.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, forward thinking and caring individuals who are committed to providing a high standard of safe quality patient care.

As you will be delivering hands on care within our adult in-patient clinical areas, we are looking for excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with members of the public and the hospital multidisciplinary teams.

Whilst previous experience of caring would be advantageous, we are also interested in hearing from exceptional individuals without this experiences.

We want to hear from people with a special talent for caring and compassion, who would be able to go the extra mile to help our patients feel valued and care for and at all times to treat them with dignity and respect.
