The role is an exciting opportunity for a confident individual who is organised and enthusiastic and able to provide support within our Information Governance Service. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin or develop their career in Data Protection and Security / Information Governance.
We are looking for a motivated enthusiastic person player with previous office administration experience to ensure that applications for disclosure of health records and information are dealt with in accordance with legislation.
Main duties of the job
The postholder should be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team, demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to prioritise their own workload to ensure compliance with strict performance targets.
The postholder must have proficiency in Microsoft Office together with RSA III (or equivalent). Previous NHS experience would be helpful, although training will be provided.
About us
This post is primarily based at the QMC Campus, but we also have offices at City Hospital Campus. However, a flexible attitude and agility to working arrangements is essential as individuals must be prepared to work in any area of Data Protection & Security / Information Governance at each campus as and when required. As well as homeworking to suit the needs of the service.
