Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Divisional General Manager (Family Health) to join Nottingham University Hospitals Trust (NUH).
NUH comprises 18,300+ staff, 1,700 beds across 3 main sites, and a budget of £1billion+ and is of the largest employers in Nottinghamshire, contributing significantly to our local economy. Most staff are based at Queens Medical Centre (QMC), the City Hospital or Ropewalk House while others work directly with community partners.
NUH is the district general hospital for 2.5m city and county residents and those in its surrounding communities, and provides specialist services for 4.5m people across the East Midlands and a handful of nationally-commissioned services. We play a pivotal role in supporting our local population's health and wellbeing and have a national and international reputation for clinical care and associated research.
We are seeking a Divisional General Manager who can evidence delivery and demonstrate how they lead. The post-holder will work alongside clinical leaders and system partners to drive real improvements. Main duties of the job
Working with the Divisional Leadership Team, the Divisional General Manager will provide high-level operational and strategic leadership for the Division to ensure that all operational performance targets, including waiting lists, finance, workforce and service improvement targets, are achieved. They will work with the Trust Executive and other Divisional teams to ensure optimal performance, service integration and contribute to the development of services in their Division, and, where appropriate, the wider Nottinghamshire health and social care system.
