Job summary

To support the Trusts catering Lead in developing robust management, audit tools and frameworks to identify and address any areas of concern in contracted services. Extract and analyse information from data systems and produce feedback reports relating to performance standards and compliance with service specifications and Key Performance Indicators (KPls).

Contribute to reviewing systems and processes to ensure that data quality is accurate, consistent and timely. Support the development and implementation of audit projects that require electronic data extraction, analysis and reporting.

Represent NUH Performance and quality Assurance team at internal and external quality and governance groups and committees as required

Main duties of the job

To support the Trust's Catering Lead in the management of the NUH outsourced contract for the provision of retail catering.

To carry out regular and ad-hoc audits to monitor the quality standards and performance of the contracted services through robust quality assurance systems and process in order to measure and validate contract compliance against the agreed KPI's requirements and playing a significant part in improving customers experience and safety.

To produce timely reports based on audit results, interrogation and triangulation of data covering all aspects of the outsourced service for the Trusts catering Lead

  • Detailed knowledge, practical experience and understanding of a range of work procedures and practices relating to managing cleaning/catering staff.
  • Experience of complaints handling in a healthcare environment or complex company.

  • Able to present complex information to a large group of non-technical and technical staff in a way that is understood
  • Able to provide complex information in the form of written and verbal communication and technical reports to Heads of Departments relating to facilities services.
