Nottingham University Hospitals is seeking a helpful, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join a busy multimedia department within Trent Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre.
Joining a thriving team of 3 multimedia simulation technicians, you will be providing technical support to a range of trust departments including including Trent Simulation and Clincial Skills Centre, Undergraduate Medical Education and Allied Health Professionals.

Main duties of the job
This is a varied post which requires the post holder to manage a number ofprojects with conflicting priorities and includes setting up, cleaning and maintaining teaching spaces and equipment, providing hands on technical support to a range of low- high simulation activities within the centre and education and clinical departments, providing hands on support and development of e-learning resources, use of virtual reality education tools and general multimedia support.
We are looking for an experienced technician to join our team, someone with excellent communication skills who is able to work directly with our clients, teaching faculty and students to ensure delivery of high quality learning.
You will have a degree level qualification in a multimedia or technical related subject or equivalent experience in technical/multimedia field and experience in a technical environment ideally within a simulation/ clinical skills/ education centre.
You will be a problem solver with the ability to adapt and find solutions often at short notice, who can work autonomously as well as within a multi-professional team. You will be confident in the use of Microsoft Office and ideally have experience in using social media platforms and using and maintaining a range of audio visual equipment.
