Job summary
The Therapies and Rehabilitation Directorate are seeking to appoint an innovative, experienced and dynamic Therapy Clinical Lead for the Health Care of Older People (HCOP) Service across Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust.
This exciting role requires a committed and dedicated person to lead the strategic development of the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services that support HCOP.
Main duties of the job
The Post holder will be a Registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist. They will be a strong clinical leader, easily identifiable, highly visible and accessible to Therapy staff throughout the HCOP service. They will drive and lead service improvements and support the wider team with teaching and training. They will work closely with the Therapy Services Manager and also with the Specialty Management Team of HCOP to ensure services are developed in line with the Trust vision.

Our HCPC registered AHP professionals comprise of physiotherapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, orthotists, prosthetists and speech and language therapists. We have a Chief AHP to lead us on our strategic direction, and many of the pathway leadership team have pathway AHP backgrounds to support our staff. There are also Practice Development Therapists to support career development for all.
