The Learning and Organisational Development team has a vital role in the delivery of NUHs ambition to meet its strategic goals.
Our approach to training, learning development is changing as we embrace the virtual world alongside the traditional classroom approaches; we are working towards a blended approach that meets the needs of the organisation and our colleagues.
The Administration Assistant will work within the Learning side of the Learning and Organisational Development team, providing administrative support to our 17000 colleagues across NUH.
We are a small team, with busy, fast-paced and varied workloads.
A major part of this role is to provide helpdesk support to NUH colleagues who contact us through emails and phone calls, with queries about their learning.

The Administration Assistant is required to navigate the Learning Management System that we use at NUH and our Learning database to accurately answer queries.
The Administration Assistant is required to input training and learning data into the Learning Management System that we use at NUH and to keep our Learning database up to date.
Administration and practical support may be required for any classroom learning events.
There are ad-hoc administration activities that the Administration Assistant will be responsible for, such as managing our training rooms, induction processes, maintaining equipment etc.
The Administration Assistant will be based at the City Hospital Campus but will on occasion be required to work across all NUH sites in order to deliver the service.
