Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our outstanding team at Nottingham Children's Hospital as a Matron for Neonatal Services. This opportunity is a 12 month secondment across our two Level 3 units. Working alongside and supported by our current Neonatal Matron, the post holder will play a pivotal role in quality and delivery of care, the development of nursing within the teams, continuing to embed our Children's Hospital Nursing Strategy in all that we do.

As a Matron you will have leadership experience, well developed organisational skills , provide a visible presence and daily clinical and professional leadership and support for nursing.

Nottingham Children's Hospital are the first Children's Hospital across Europe to be accredited with Pathway to Excellence.

As a Matron across Neonatal services you will provide day-to-day operational, clinical, professional leadership and support for nursing, maintain quality focused standards as well as linking with other healthcare professionals throughout the services to ensure we continue to provide excellent care to all of our neonates and their families.

About us

This is an exciting time to become a pivotal member of our Neonatal team as we move onwards with our journey of care excellence. You will be supported in your role by the, Assistant Divisional Nurse and Deputy Divisional Nurse for the Childrens Hospital.
