Medicines Project Officer - Pharmacy Technician

Job summary

Saving lives, saving NHS money and transforming services for patients thats our mission at the East Midlands Academic Health Science Network (EMAHSN); we are seeking a Project Officer to join our Medicines Optimisation team to play a key role in making sure citizens throughout the East Midlands and beyond have the opportunity to benefit from our portfolio of innovations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across the East Midlands and with colleagues across the AHSN Network, contributing to national and local programmes designed to enable improvements in clinical outcomes, deliver better patient experiences, and drive down the cost of care, stimulating economic growth. The role is offered as fixed term or a secondment opportunity (where line manager approval is granted) for one year, based at the University of Nottinghams Innovation Park when office working resumes. Occasional travel within the East Midlands may be required.

Main duties of the job

Leadingon theadoption and spreadof a range of innovations around medicines and their pathways, you will be a flexible, dynamic team player who will employ highly effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills to build networks and relationships.

Key to success will beyourability to actively engage withstakeholders, clinicians andhealth and care professionals, bringing them togetheracrossorganisational boundariesto assess readiness to adopt,securecommitment andgenerateimplementation plansthat will result in innovative changes that areimpactful andsustainable.You will enjoy working collaboratively,adapting to local context,finding common groundand seeking solutions.

You will be agile and flexiblein your approach, able to juggle multiple programmes and takein your stride rapidly emerging priorities, especially in the light of COVID-19.
