Main duties of the job
-To support the CYPICS team across the region, providing clinical advice, governance support and leadership.
-To have oversight of the Paediatric ChemoCare electronic prescribing system, leading on Governance and working with the team to ensure that it is maintained and updated as required.
-To work with the wider Paediatric Oncology Pharmacy team to provide clinical cover for inpatients and those attending hospital for chemotherapy and associated treatments.
-To line manage and support pharmacists within the team as well as Chemocare support staff.
-To take full part in 7 day working (including bank holidays) within the wider Pharmacy Department.
-To take part in senior pharmacist on-call duties
This postholder will be based mainly at the QMC campus but will have to travel within the East Midlands (including Nottingham City Hospital, Leicester and Northampton) on occasion.
