Are you a dietitian with a broad range of clinical experience and an interest in working within a community based Home Enteral Feeding Team ( HEF) and at a 25 bed inpatient rehabilitation unit at the City Campus at Nottingham university hospitals ? Do you have a passion for improving patient outcomes with best nutritional care? Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide clinical support for patients under the home enteral feeding service . The successful candidate will support complex nutritional interventions as well as basic nutrition support both on the inpatient unit and within the community . Linden lodge is a 25 bed rehabilitation unit for adults who have suffered major trauma , spial injuries or neurological conditions . Some experience in the area would be beneficial. We actively encourage service improvement and audit and the successful candidate would have the opportunity to be involved in development work to improve nutritional care in home enterally fed patients.
Youll need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, a flexible approach and the ability to manage your own time and workload and that of other members of staff within a supportive team.
About us
The home enteral feeding team is a team of around 20 dietitians , dietetic assistants , coordinators, nursesand administration staff . They are part of a large and friendly dietetic department of around 90 staff providing dietetic and nutrition support across all areas of the Trust and beyond.
The Trust is committed to providing excellent nutritional care, led by its Nutrition and Hydration Steering committee. We have close links with the University of Nottingham, and take student dietitians for A, B and C placements.
