If yes, then we have the ideal opportunity for you. We have Apprenticeship vacancies in a number of Administration departments in the hospital and we are looking to recruit high quality individuals to join our Apprenticeship Programme.

You must have at least 4 GCSEs or predicted grades [4 and above, which must include English and Maths]. You must not already hold a Level 2 or above qualification in the same subject area.

You will be employed on a 15 months fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours a week, with time for formal study. A high percentage of our Apprentices are recruited into permanent employment with the Trust during and on completion of their Apprenticeship.

Main duties of the job

This programme provides you with the skills, knowledge and experience you will need to progress into employment.

From day one, you need to impress those you are working with and to show your potential as a future employee of the NHS in order to increase your chances of entering employment on the completion of your Apprenticeship hopefully with the Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

As an apprentice, you will be employed, on a fixed term contract, in a department within Barnsley Hospital and spend up to one day each week working towards your qualification.
