Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Nurse to lead our project to transform our documentation practice and processes. The successful candidate will work with the Deputy Director of Nursing & Quality to deliver this ambitious and challenging project, with support from the wider senior Nursing Team as well as a clinical digital implementer. You will work closely with the CNIO and Head of Nursing Quality.
We anticipate this to be a 2-year project which will provide an opportunity for you to expand your existing portfolio of knowledge and skills; leading a project from start to finish.
The interview date for this role will be 6th March 2024.
Main duties of the job
You will provide the day to day leadership for the Nursing Paper to Digital Transformation programme. You will provide and maintain the project governance and report progress through the Trusts assurance processes.
A core part of your role will be to engage with Nursing colleagues to ensure the best conditions are in place to support staff through this significant change in practice; you will need to demonstrate strong, visible and compassionate leadership with an ability to manage expectations and deliver the trust ambition to be paper light.
You will play an integral role in the visualisation, optimisation and digitisation of nursing documents, leading to a reduction in duplication and supporting Nurses to ensure effective care planning and record keeping.
