As Head of the HR Business Partnering Service you will be responsible for ensuring that Clinical Business Units (CBUs) and Corporate Directorates are provided with an effective, efficient and professional HR Business Partner service. You will lead the HRBP team and oversee delivery of the operational HR function including all aspects of employee relations. You will actively contribute to the development and implementation of HR and Organisational Development strategy, policies and procedures.
Main duties of the job
Influence and drive business thinking and develop HR approaches that support operational business objectives, organisational design and resource plans.
Develop a thorough understanding of the CBUs and Corporate Directorates business plans and HR issues to ensure that their workforce requirements are identified, planned and delivered on a timely basis.
Provide support, leadership, management and direction to the operational HR function, ensuring that colleagues are adequately trained, informed, supervised and developed.
Ensure that a restorative, just and learning approach to employee relations is engendered throughout the Trust and that effective partnership relations are developed and maintained to ensure effective partnership working with trade union colleagues.
Support the management of all doctor cases using the Maintaining High Professional Standards (MHPS) procedure.
Act as the Trusts HR point of contact for all safeguarding issues.
Develop the management capability of line managers, coaching and equipping them with the knowledge and skills to handle people management responsibilities in line with the Trusts direction and values.
Ensure that appropriate workforce data and information is used to drive performance improvement strategies.
