Job summary

An exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational and communication skills has arisen within the CBU 2 management team.

The role within the department is to ensure the accurate and relevant data validation to support the business and operational needs of the Clinical Business Unit (CBU) in conjunction with the Operational Support Manager and Service Manager.

This includes monitoring data quality, identifying patterns of non-compliance and assisting colleagues by highlighting areas of poor practice so the appropriate training and management can be delivered and in accordance with the Trust Access Policy to meet their activity targets.

The interview date for this role will be Monday 22nd July 2024.

Main duties of the job

The main purpose of the role is to verify all aspects of data validation and accuracy for patients on RTT pathways within CBU2, including clock stops, clinic outcomes and patients on waiting list for surgery. This will include providing performance reports as required.

This will include diagnosing the causes of data errors and develop guidance materials to address them.

They will work closely with the Trust Data Quality team to improve quality of data recording
