This role is a fantastic opportunity for apprentices who are currently studying for NVQ Level 2/3, apprentices should note that the salary will remain as an apprenticeship salary as this position is fixed term.

An opportunity has arisen for 1 Junior Applications Developer to work within the Applications Development Team of the Business Intelligence Department at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This would be ideally suited to a University Student studying a computing related course and looking for a placement year opportunity or someone who has recently completed studies for a computing related course and looking to develop skills in a working environment.
Main duties of the job
The Applications Development Teams duties primarily include providing data warehouse management and maintenance, developing new systems and applications, supporting changes and new functionalities, working alongside other teams to ensure maintenance of SharePoint versions as well as creating and maintaining the eForms used across the Trust.
The post holder will assist the team to manage and maintain the Trusts eForms using Microsoft InfoPath and C# as well as work with alongside colleagues to assist with the development of new eForms, dashboards, and applications using HTML and CSS. Other Duties will include providing SharePoint access to users, assisting with daily checks, providing advice to users, and also providing general administration duties. This post requires someone to work well as team and the ability to work on their own initiative.
