An exiting opportunity for a Band 6 for a 6-month
period to be involved in the development of several new discharge
initiatives. This role will be located
in the discharge hub but working out on ward areas to implement and train staff
on discharge and new initiatives to improve the patient journey through our
hospital.
The registered nurse will need to work on their own
initiative while supporting the manager to deliver a high quality of training
and ensure new initiatives are implemented to a high standard.
Main duties of the job
The registered nurse will be supporting the implementation
of criteria led discharge, discharge checklist and criteria to reside. They will also be responsible for training
and educating new and existing staff on discharge processors as well as
supporting with the discharge and patient.
