This post is a fixed term/secondment opportunity.

Due to internal staff movement to support the opening of the Winter Escalation ward, a 4-month fixed term contract opportunity has arisen to join the Ward 30 Frailty team. This is a great opportunity for those with administrative/clerical experience to gain NHS experience to support their application for future permanent roles. There may also be potential to extend this contact as required by the department.

Full training and support will be given to the successful candidate, as they will be paired with an existing Ward Clerk from another department prior to working independently on Ward 30.

Main duties of the job

To provide administrative support to the activity within the ward and direct telephone enquiries to the responsible nurse. Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the ward office environment.
