We
have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is interested in
leading a team. The lead nurse position
for fracture clinic and Plaster room is an exciting opportunity for someone
wanting to take their career to the next level.
The interview date for this role will be 18th October 2024.
Main duties of the job
You will have the opportunity to to provide
effective leadership, expertise, advice & support to the fracture clinic,
virtual fracture clinic and Plaster room ensuring the provision of the highest
quality care to patients and their families.
As well as working within the fracture clinic
team you will liaise closely with the Orthopaedic medical team, Service manager
and Arthroplasty Nurse.

Essential
- 1st level registered nurse (equivalent to 1st degree) plus significant experience at Band 6 plus additional qualifications including Assessing and Mentoring qualification and additional relevant degree (or evidence of working towards a degree)
- Evidence of ongoing dynamic continuing professional development within the speciality linked to demonstrable clinical competencies.
- Basic life support training
- Demonstrable experience of taking charge of a ward environment
Desirable
- Advanced Life Support training
- NVQ D32/33 Assessor Course
