This role is a fantastic opportunity for apprentices who are currently studying for NVQ Level 2/3, apprentices should note that the salary would be Agenda for Change Annex 21 trainee rate (75%max of band) until they have completed their apprenticeship.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our Clinical Application Management Team.

As the IG/Clinical Application Support Administrator, you will work within the Clinical Application Support team to provide effective administrative, service desk 1st / 2nd line support and issue resolution support.

Main duties of the job

Provide Service Desk 1st and 2nd line support for all clinical application issues and requests.

To assist users with issues and service requests relating to the Trusts core clinical systems and smartcards.

Maintain a record of all calls and jobs on the Trusts and service providers service tool by raising support tickets.

Monitor support tickets from end users to ensure they are resolved or escalated within local Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Respond well to system changes and processes by supporting system implementations and completing necessary training.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills, electronically and face-to-face to ensure a consistent level of support to system users.

Provide face to face support via regular departmental visits to clinical and non-clinical areas.

Assist in the development of guidance and standard operating procedures on all aspects of clinical applications support.
