Job summary
This role is a fantastic opportunity for apprentices who are currently studying for NVQ Level 2/3, apprentices should note that the salary would be Agenda for Change Annex 21 trainee rate (75%max of band) until they have completed their apprenticeship.
Interview Date is 13th March 2024.
The post holder will be responsible for providing the Clinical Application Management Help Desk function. This will include the provision of a call logging function via telephone and drop-in as well as department and ward walkarounds. Other duties include some remote fixes, user account creation and maintenance, smart card maintenance, advice to users, project administration support and also providing general administration duties.
You will need to be flexible to cover an 8am 5pm rota cover, a good team player and someone who thrives on delivering support and digital change to our Trust.
Main duties of the job
To evaluate and implement new systems within the Trust to ensure that full business benefits are realised, and to support the strategic objectives.
The Information Directorate provides ICT, Informatics and Health and Social Care Information Centre programme management to the Trust and the Barnsley Health Community.
The Information Governance Department and Clinical Systems team offers a service providing leadership for Information Governance (IG) within the Trust, establishing corporate standards and a consistent and overarching response to all IG initiatives and associated legislation including the Data Protection Act 1998 and Freedom Information Act 2000.
Manage, support and development of the Trust's critical clinical support systems (systems which hold service, user, clinical and administrative data), including but not limited to, Careflow EPR, Careflow Connect, ICE, Digital Dictation, Bluespier, Winscribe etc.
