Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to work as an integral part of the Urology Nursing team, in order to provide a comprehensive, evidence-based Urology service for patients in Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (BHNFT).

You will work under the direction of the Lead Nurse, at a level appropriate to clinical competence and within the scope of professional practice.

Main duties of the job

You will be providing care in an outpatient setting to patients who have a range of urological conditions.

You will work closely with the urology consultants, the Nurse Cystoscopist and the wider urology nursing team.

You will be providing a variety of treatments for example catherisation, administering bladder treatments and teaching self-catheterisation plus much more.

This is fulfilling role that makes a positive difference for the patients of Barnsley
