Job summary

The Pre-assessment unit is a very busy unit responsible for assessing all elective patients prior to surgery.

As an assistant practitioner you will be working alongside the registered nurses to provide an excellent standard of care for our patients. The staff member will work with a very well established and friendly team and the role is a very rewarding role.

Main duties of the job

The assistant practitioner plays a vital role within the unit. The role is to work alongside and support the registered practitioner to ensure all surgical patients are assessment and fit for their planned surgery date.

The role includes carrying out follow up clinics, contacting and triaging patients and general clinical duties.
