Two positions available:

Post 1 - 37.5 hours per week

Post 2 - 30 hours per week

As a Senior Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Aseptic Services Team to prepare high risk and complex medicines, such as chemotherapy, TPN and Monoclonal Antibodies, to services across the trust.

Main duties of the job

Preparation of medicines will involve the use of Aseptic techniques in accordance to COSHH regulations as well as regional and national standards. The post holder will supervise and mentor assistants. Other duties include maintaining adequate levels of stock, filling and distributing emergency boxes, anaesthetic boxes and extravasation kits to the wards and communicating with service users regarding patient flow.
