An opportunity
has arisen for an experienced band 7 to apply for a temporary matrons role in
CBU 2 for a period of approximately 5 months. This is to join the existing
matron team; patches to be decided.
You will be
responsible for ensuring a quality service is delivered and maintained within
the areas by being visible, providing clear and compassionate leadership and
looking to support service development whilst collaborating with the
multidisciplinary team and the patient voice.
As this is a
fixed term/secondment please ensure that you have the permission of your line
manager to be released.
Main duties of the job
The Matron will help support the Quality agenda and the
Nursing leadership across the CBU.
Ensuring that patients, relatives and carers receive the
highest standard of care and best possible experience each and every time.
Quality and Safety will be a strong focus for the matron
ensuring that areas are staffed appropriately, cleanliness and infection
control standards are at the highest standards and staff experience is also
prioritised
