Are you looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our Acute Response Team. The Acute Response Team are part of a Trust wide initiative in identifying deteriorating patients at an early stage and intervening promptly in their care. Providing a Critical Care outreach service working autonomously to support and review deteriorating patients with the fundamental purpose of reducing the morbidity and mortality rates associated with hospital admissions, prevent critical care admissions and when necessary facilitate prompt referral/admission to critical care.
The Acute Response Team members also form part of the cardiac arrest team, it is therefore essential that you hold or are willing to complete your Advanced Life Support (ALS) course.
The post holder will be responsible to the Acute Response Team Leader and Consultant Intensivist Medical Lead

Clinical Practice
Work as an autonomous professional at an advanced level and to be able to demonstrate high standards of clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team taking responsibility for high level decisions and investigations
Perform complex clinical interventions at an advanced level, ensuring patient safety.
Mange the implementation, ward education and care of inpatients with Acute Kidney Injury.
Leadership and management
You will be expected to assist with the management of trainee ACPs within the team.
Provide clinical and logistical support for medical teams, helping manage patients and providing advice within scope of practice.
Education and Training
Hold full masters in Advanced Clinical Practice
Actively engage as a faculty member in Trust formal teaching programmes
