We are excited to be able to offer this role following internal changes. This is an exciting opportunity to join our paediatric physiotherapy team and help us continue our journey towards excellence. Your role will be to lead and develop the paediatric physiotherapy service offer, working with colleagues within BHNFT and across the paediatric pathways in Barnsley. You will be working alongside our advanced specialist in paediatrics these roles will have defined responsibilities (to be agreed on appointment) to create an optimal leadership structure
Main duties of the job
You will have advanced clinical skills within the management of various paediatric conditions, and be able to apply this knowledge and experience to aid the multidisciplinary team in providing best possible care.
You will be responsible for the clinical governance within the paediatric physiotherapy service, and will share your skills more widely across the physiotherapy service and therapy team.
You will ensure that the service is evidence based and effective utilising current and developing guidance and established outcome measures.
You will ensure that you provide a high standard of leadership for your team, and across the therapy services including living our values as an organisation and as a profession.
You will be forward thinking, motivating and innovative, developing the service and your team in order to be fit for the future challenges.
Our therapy services are undergoing a number of developments including digital transformation and we have high aspirations for where we can take physiotherapy and the therapy teams as a whole. This is both a challenging and exciting time to be joining our team.
