Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic registered dental nurse to join our dynamic, growing team. This permanent position is ideally suited to someone who wants to advance their career in a busy and supportive workplace. As a registered Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting the lead nurse in ensuring that our service users needs are met through the delivery of high quality care. The hours of work will be worked over Monday Friday, between the hours of 8am- 5pm.

Main duties of the job

In this position you will work alongside colleagues to provide a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures.

Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement. Ensure Trust values and behaviours are at the key focus of your work.

Essential

  • A good background knowledge of most routine oral/maxillofacial and orthodontic procedures, including cross infection control
  • Understanding of the need for confidentiality
  • Awareness of Health and Safety requirements including Infection Control Procedures
  • Ability to have a working knowledge of all general dental procedures
  • Knowledge of life support & trained to intermediate level
