Job summary
This role is a fantastic opportunity for apprentices who are currently studying for NVQ Level 2/3, apprentices should note that the salary would be Agenda for Change Annex 21 trainee rate (75%max of band) until they have completed their apprenticeship

We are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff to join our admin and clerical team supporting our Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Speech and Language Therapy departments. You will offer a person-centered approach through offering a full range of reception, administrative and clerical duties that supports the efficient and effective of running of the Therapy Outpatient departments at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (BHNFT).
Main duties of the job
You will maintain a high level of professionalism whilst responsible for reception duties for our Therapy Outpatient services at BHNFT. You will be dealing with enquiries and providing information to the general public both face to face and over the telephone.
You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and effective appointment system for several outpatient therapy areas, including booking, cancelling and re-arranging appointments, recording patient referrals, and using our digital systems.
