1 Role 24 Hours permanent and 1 role 36 Hours Fixed term 6 Months.
We are seeking a motivated and caring Neonatal Staff Nurse to join our Neonatal Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in neonatal nursing within a supportive and friendly team. Our unit provides special care, high dependency care and intensive care for babies from 27 weeks gestation and above.
It is essential that you are an RN or RSCN, posess the Qualification in Speciality or have a keen interest to work towards the Qualification in Specialty, Intensive Care of the Newborn.
It is required that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Have an approachable manner and positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst being committed to providing high quality care to the infants and families accessing our services.
The interview date for this role will be Monday 20th April 2026.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to neonates and their families.
Monitor and assess babies conditions, responding promptly to changes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to the NMC guidance, policies and proceedures.
Support parents in understanding and participating as partners in their babys care.
Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all clinical governance standards.
