The department is noted to be very friendly, and is constantly looking to develop and expand. Main duties of the job

If you are looking for an exciting new challenge, we have the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and forward-thinking individual to take on the role of Pharmacy Storekeeper/Clerk.You will be responsible for the receipt of goods for the different areas of the Pharmacy Department, safe storage of goods including stock rotation and bulk deliveries, assisting in the ordering of fluids, the use of various Pharmacy IT systems including robotics.You will be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills working alone and within a team.

Ensuring that safe and efficient systems of work are maintained while being responsible for:

Receipting of all drugs

Checking deliveries against orders

Entering deliveries on to the Pharmacy database

Resolving delivery issues with suppliers

Shelving and storing deliveries including stock rotation

Filing and maintaining delivery records

This post is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, and your contracted hours will be worked over 5 days, including participation in the weekend, late night, and bank holiday rotas as required.We would encourage an informal visit.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for apprentices who are currently studying for NVQ Level 2/3, apprentices should note that the salary would be Agenda for Change Annex 21 trainee rate (75%max of band) until they have completed their apprenticeship.
