Job summary
Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking to
recruit a Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist with a special interest in Gynae-oncology
medicine. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a friendly and forward
thinking Obstetric and gynaecology team in a successful Trust in South
Yorkshire. It is anticipated that the successful candidate, with the support of
the new Gynae-Oncology and Maternity Medicine Network, will help consolidate
current services as well as developing further services in line with the
national maternity plan and Saving Babies Lives V3. The postholder will also have
the opportunity to help take the Gynae-Oncology service forward. There will also
be the opportunity to develop a special interest if so desired.
