This is a part time position - 15 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly
motivated Staff Nurses to join our
SEQOHS accredited Occupational Health and Wellbeing service based at Barnsley
Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The role will require you to provide clinical expertise in relation to
occupational health issues in order to support the delivery of a high standard
service with a clear focus on prevention and effective attendance management.
The post holder will support the day to day management of the
Occupational health service providing support to junior clinical and
administrative team members.
Main duties of the job
The appointed candidate will:
Support the delivery
of specialist Occupational Health and Wellbeing advice within the Trust and to
external client groups as per agreed contracts and Service Level Agreements.
Promote
Occupational Health and Wellbeing within the Trust and maintain an
understanding and good working relationships with all client groups.
Respond to the
professional developments in Occupational Health and Wellbeing Practice and
Health and Safety Legislation.
Be aware of new initiatives and support the development of policies to
ensure that legal requirements are communicated effectively to clients to
minimise health and safety risks.
