Job summary

Are you a motivated physiotherapist who would like to consolidate and develop your skills in a rotational post. As a Band 6 Physiotherapist in BHRUT you will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills and other non-clinical aspects of a specialist practitioner. This will ensure you are confident to work as an autonomous practitioner across a broad number of specialities.We have 6 monthly rotations including acute frailty, critical care, medical specialities, orthopaedics (elective and trauma), outpatients, respiratory and stroke.You will work alongside senior members of staff to ensure quality rotation-specific treatment to patients with various medical conditions, according to the rotation you are on. We place high emphasis on multi-disciplinary teamwork.The successful candidate will have good assessment, planning and implementation skills. You will be able to mentor and supervise students as well as junior staff. Learning and development are very important to our Teams. Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard of physiotherapy service, as determined by the rotation, facilitating and maximising patient potential within the service boundaries

To fulfil a teaching and supervisory role with peers, Junior staff and Students on placement

To participate in the band 6 rotational scheme which could involve working across the Trust in a range of settings, including orthopaedic musculoskeletal conditions, acute stroke, critical care, surgical/paediatrics and acute medical.
