Job summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of financial accountancy support to the team. You will also be responsible for ensuring that regular tasks are completed within agreed timescales. The post-holder will need to demonstrate a high degree of financial awareness, and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Oracle Finance system. Experience of working in an NHS environment would be desirable. Working alongside other financial staff, this post will give the successful applicant exposure to a wide range of finance functions and opportunity to gain knowledge in all aspects of financial accounts.

Main duties of the job

To provide an efficient and effective accounting support to the Financial & Management Accountant Supervisor and to assist in the provision of financial accounting services.

We're looking forward to introducing an electronic patient record next year. This will mean the records of any patient visiting one of the seven hospitals run by BHRUT and Barts Health will be accessible to the clinical teams. It'll make things easier for staff and will be better for patients.
