This Commercial Procurement Data and Systems Manager role will support across all teams within within the Commercial Procurement Services function.
The post holder will be an integral part of the Commercial Procurement Business Operations team within the Procurement Services Function, supporting the Director of Procurement Services and Head of Commercial Procurement Business Operations with key procurement data and systems transformation deliverables across the all teams within the Commercial Procurement Services team, as well as supporting and leading key operational and strategic initiatives across North East London (NEL).
This is a key role to support the Director of Commercial Procurement Services and Head of Commercial Procurement Business Operations to assist with the implementation of the BHRUT vision and strategy for Commercial Procurement, as approved by the Trust Board, with a specific focus on continuous development, improvement and transformation across the entire spectrum of procurement data and systems.
This role will also be integral to supporting the Trust towards delivering a Best in Class Commercial Procurement Service for BHRUT and Integrated Collaboration across North East London (NEL) across the spectrum of procurement data and systems deliverables. To achieve this, the role will be central to managing and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Main duties of the job
- SQL Development (advanced queries) ETL/SSIS/SSRS
- Hands on experience on MSBI technologies primarily (SQL, SSIS, Power BI)
- Work closely with business analysts and solution architects to implement MS SSIS ETL solutions.
- Actively participate in business requirements gathering sessions and understand client requirements.
- Datamodelling, database design, ETL, Azure (ADLS, ADF, ADB) and Microsoft BI Stack.
- Create, present and get sign-offs for design documents and unit test scenarios.
- Mentor team
- Optimize SQL server queries to efficiently and quickly retrieve data.
- Create and design best-practice data warehouse solutions that support business reporting tasks.
- Good and clear communication
- To develop and implement data pipelines that extracts, transforms and loads data into data products such as Azure Data lake, SQL databases, and Power BI.
- Ingesting, storing, processing, enriching and provisioning large data sets.
