Clinical Fellow (ST3 -4) - Emergency Medicine
Fixed Term - 12 months (With the opportunity to join our in house Academy of Emergency Medicine for 2 years)

- Are you a dynamic, motivated doctor seeking a broad experience of inner-city emergency medicine at junior doctor level (ST3+)
- Can you demonstrate previous UK emergency medicine experience?

Main duties of the job
We are offering a fixed term appointment, starting as soon as possible, initially for 12 months but with potential to extend this. Successful Candidates will be expected to work at both Queens and the King Georges site on the Middle Grade rota (ST3-ST4 level).
These post consists of on average 48 hours per week and attract a 1a banding (50%). We offer 27 days of annual leave + bank holidays.
The training we provide includes shop floor management of trauma, acute medical, surgical, psychiatry and Paediatric cases. All Training will be provided by Emergency Medicine Consultants and Paediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant.
Eligibility
You must have (essential):
- Full registration with the GMC;
- At least two years' post-graduation clinical experience;
- At least 6 Months experience in adult & paediatric emergency medicine;
- Up-to-date certification in ALS, ATLS or ACLS.
Candidates not fulfilling these essential criteria will not be shortlisted for interview.
You should preferably also have (desirable):
- work-based assessments in at least five ACCS "major presentations" and at least eight "acute presentations";
- MRCEM, MRCP, MRCS, MRCGP, or primary FRCA.
- Level 1 Core Emergency Ultrasound
