An opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Nurse Advice Line & PAC Admin Assistant, based at The Walton Neurology Centre. This is a 30 hour post Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm.
Range of duties will vary from;
Nurse Appointment Line - dealing with incoming calls
Booking of appointments for patients requiring nurse advice call back onto the PAS and E-portal systems
Deal efficiently with enquirers from patients, carers and GP's in a timely and courteous manner, providing basic information and non-clinical advice.
To input all data collected from the Consultant advice line onto the relevant system.
Access Summary Care Record to obtain and input patient demographics onto the relevant system.
Accurate audio typing, using the Trust EP2 system.
Record outcomes of Neurology consultations onto relevant system

Main duties of the job
Provide comprehensive administrative
cover for the Consultant and Nurse advice lines and the Tele Neurology
dashboard within the Neurology division.
Provide assistance and guidance as required to
all patients and carers using the nurse advice line.
