Job summary
Our therapy service offers excellent development opportunities for ambitious physiotherapists who strive for professional excellence and as a result we need a suitably experienced physiotherapist who is able to demonstrate a range of skills to join our team.
Working within a multi professional team you will gain excellent specialist experience from a range of respiratory settings including critical care and acute wards
As an effective team player you will have excellent organisational skills with an interest in audit and research and a commitment to CPD.
As part of your role you will provide training and supervision to junior staff, undergraduate students and other relevant health professionals.
You will be expected to participate in evening and weekend working including 7 day rotas according to the requirements of the service.

Main duties of the job
1. To assess and treat patients within critical care and those with respiratory conditions within the wards
2. To work flexibly according to service needs
3. To assist Senior Therapy staff in service development and the provision of a quality service.
4. To take responsibility where appropriate, for junior therapy staff and students and delegate duties as necessary, providing appropriate level of support at all times.
5. Under the direction of supervisor and other team members assist with specified areas of service provision as appropriate
