We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised and Detail-Oriented: You must have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with staff at all levels.
- Proactive and Flexible: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and managing workload.
- IT Proficient: Competent in using MS word & excel and HR systems (e.g., ESR, NHS Jobs/TRAC) or willing to learn.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 3 HR Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR team in delivering a high-quality service across the trust. Your duties will include:
- HR Administration: Managing and maintaining employee records, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- To manage diaries effectively using the Outlook electronic system to co-ordinate internal and external meetings and some corporate events
- To take and produce comprehensive, confidential and accurate minutes of significant HR processes (including grievances, appeals, hearings etc) to a high standard
- Recruitment Support: Assist the Medical staffing team with the administration of the medical recruitment process.
- To provide a customer service to visitors to the department, dealing with enquiries in an effective and courteous manner
- Ensuring all HR processes and documentation comply with NHS policies and procedures.
