As Senior BI Developer, you will develop, analyse and interpret business and performance information to ensure the accurate and timely production of reports and dashboards, primarily using Power BI and SSRS.
The role will also be to develop, implement and maintain systems to ensure the efficient andeffective collection of all performance management data and wider business intelligence.
You will be responsible for delivering the build of data tables and identify and address thecontinued development and maintenance of the Data Warehouse, with a focus on databaseadministration, performance tuning, optimisation, source control and the recording of technicaldocumentation.
Main duties of the job
- To play a lead role in the development of business intelligence reports to meet the aims of the Business Intelligence Strategy and the needs of the organisation.
- Take an investigative role in ensuring that wherever practical and appropriate the Data Warehouse is developed to enable greater and wider use of data / information for Business Intelligence and SLR. This will involve working closely with other developers to ensure co-ordination of developments on the data warehouse.
